Directory of
Opticians

An Optician makes, fits and adjusts glasses, and some opticians also fit and adjust contact lenses.

EyeSearch Vision Insurance

This is always done using a prescription from an ophthalmologist or optometrist.  Opticians may also duplicate your prescription from a current pair of glasses.

Training for Opticians varies.  Twenty-one states require licensure, which means that the optician has met the state requirements and is qualified to fill eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions.

In states that do not require a license look for certification.

We are currently building our database with outstanding eye care specialists.  If you know of Opticians that have given you outstanding care we would appreciate your acknowledgement of that level of service by a
recommendation to EyeSearch.

Thank you.
